In the Summer of 2011 I designed an infographic for the Pop!Tech World Rebalancing iPad application. Using data from the Pricewaterhouse Coppers CEO Survey, I constructed a visual narrative that outlined new dynamics at work in the Future of Business. After interacting with the visualization, the viewer realizes that things like chronic water shortages and reverse worker migration are having lasting and systemic impacts on business.
The Process
After sifting through the CEO Survey data, it became clear that dynamics were changing from “business as usual”. Some CEOs appreciated the opportunities that arise with rapid change, others fearful. Telling the story of the effect of rapid change in business and society became my focus so I created a navigation where the user could cycle through topics and see their global effects.
