Google Fonts vs. FontSquirrel

gfonts

I use Font Squirrel for this site. Their selection is incredible (and I don’t like anyone hosting my font files but myself). Though you’ve got to admit one thing: if google is in it, then they’re in it to win it. So their service will only get better over time. And this means the good [...]

Sol y Olas

ch_BOTH

My cousin in Raxó, Spain (Galicia) runs a hut on Sinas beach. In Spain these huts are called Chiringuitos and they sell water, beer and snacks. Every week during the summer he does a churrasco which draws a decent crowd. This year, in an attempt to bring a little brand-recognition to his venture, he asked [...]

Fun With the bitMapData Object

outPut1

I’m a little late to the party here (like 4 years!), but nonetheless I’ve set out to do some generative art work with photography, flash and painterly randomness. These are the first few outputs from the new program I’ve created. Still tweaking things, but you can see my first stab in motion below (it may [...]

Absolutely beautiful personal data visualizations are now available to view in Feltron’s 2009 Annual Report. Don’t forget to buy a copy. Someone tell Mulvey his designer-crush just turned a new page (literally).
